Goa Water Stories (GWS) celebrates the interwoven tapestry of water, culture, and ecology along Goa’s waterways and the Western Ghats. Anchored by the virtual Living Waters Museum, GWS is a collaborative exploration—co-curated with local communities, researchers, artists, writers, and students—to document the rivers, wells, mangroves, khazan lands, and Ramsar sites that shape Goa’s vibrant landscapes and living heritage. Through immersive storytelling, visuals, workshops, and digital media, the project elevates oral traditions and indigenous knowledge, bringing hyperlocal water narratives from elders and citizens into larger dialogues on sustainability, justice, and water stewardship for future generations.
