Well designed websites are much more than just how they look. They help users understand the company, products/services and branding using creative elements, right marketing messages and interactions that work towards a goal. Here are 10 steps of our design and development process to achieve the same.
If you are already having a website, audit plays a very important role in identifying bottlenecks in your website.
In this stage we work with you to determine the goals for your new website by understanding your target audience and brand.
Once we know the site's goals, we understand your design preferences and features that needs to be built by providing references. Once we align on this, we share the scope of work proposal with you and sign the contract.
In this stage we determine the sitemap by listing out all the pages that needs to be built and how they need to be organized and interlinked.
We start the process by building wireframes that represents the skeletal framework of the website. Functionality, behaviour and priority of content is the main focus in this stage and not how the website looks.
We start creating content for individual pages keeping SEO in mind. Its important that we start with content rather than designing the visual elements.
Now that we have sitemap and content for individual pages in place, we can start working on visual brand. We work with you closely in this stage to bring your design vision to life.
Once we finalize the design and how the website looks, we handover the design to our developers to build a website with clean, semantic and optimised code.
Now its time to make sure everything works as expected. We combine manual browsing of the site on a variety of devices with automated site crawlers to identify everything from user experience issues to simple broken links.
Once everything's working beautifully, it's time to plan and execute the website launch. We plan both launch timing and communication strategies to reach out to your audience.
